THIS IS MORE THAN AN OLD NEWSPAPER CLIPPING.
This photograph was published in The Gleaner in 2020, shortly after COVID changed everything. That is my dad, E.G. Gilford, on the left and me, Seth Gilford, on the right.
Even during uncertain times, we were still on the roof—working, serving our community and continuing the family business established in 1962.
My dad is no longer with us, but the standards he taught me still guide Gilford & Sons Roofing today:
Tell the truth. Do quality work. Treat every customer like family.
Gilford & Sons Roofing is Henderson’s oldest continuously operating roofing company. We didn’t just appear after the latest storm, and we won’t disappear when the work slows down. We have served Henderson and the Tri-State Area for more than six decades—and we are here to stay.
When you call us, you don’t get passed off to just another salesman. I’m Seth Gilford, one of the owners, and I can personally inspect your roof. I will photograph and document any damage, explain exactly what I find and remain involved throughout the process.
Your inspection is free, with no obligation and no high-pressure sales pitch.
If legitimate storm damage is present, I can help you understand the insurance process, provide thorough documentation and meet with the adjuster at your property. I work with homeowners whose claims involve all major insurance companies, helping ensure that legitimate covered damage is properly identified and considered.
I am also certified in roof ventilation. That means I don’t look only at your shingles—I evaluate the entire roofing system, including the intake and exhaust ventilation needed to help control attic heat and moisture and protect the life of your roof.
Why does GAF Master Elite® matter?
Only about 2% of roofing contractors in North America are invited to become GAF Master Elite® Contractors. This certification allows Gilford & Sons Roofing to offer qualifying homeowners some of GAF’s strongest warranty options, including the Golden Pledge® Limited Warranty.
We are also proud to be a BBB Accredited Business.
Our specialties include:
✅ Residential and commercial roofing
✅ Siding
✅ Gutters and gutter guards
✅ Roof and attic ventilation
✅ Storm-damage inspections and documentation
✅ Insurance-claim assistance
Ask yourself: When it comes to protecting your home or business, do you want just any roofing company—or do you want the experience of Henderson’s longest-established roofing company?
When our family name is on the company, you know exactly who stands behind the work.
Still family-owned. Still serving our neighbors. Still Setting the Bar Since 1962.
