UPDATE FOR CUSTOMERS: COVID-19 VIRUS
The safety of our employees, our customers, and our suppliers, as well as our communities remains at the top of our operating priorities. As you know, this is a very fluid situation and we understand that business decisions must be based on each unique situation and information from local jurisdictions. However, at this time the continued operation of our business is essential to the health and well-being of our customers and communities. In fact, the State of Nevada has requested that we stay in business and continue our service. Logan Pool Service as well as all pool service companies has been declared an “Essential Business” by the State of Nevada.

Importantly, please note the following:

• Proper sanitization will keep bodies of water safe for our customers. As children and families are being asked to shelter at home, providing the means for properly sanitized home pool environments is critical to helping maintain community health.
• According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), COVID-19 cannot survive in properly treated pool and hot tub water.
• Untreated water can promote many other types of bacteria (Pseudomonas, Cryptosporidium, E. Coli, Shigella etc.).
• The World Health Organization (WHO) states that controlling water quality is necessary to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases:

For these reasons and unless otherwise instructed by a particular jurisdiction, Logan Pool Service will remain open throughout this crisis to ensure that all of our customers have a safe swimming environment.

Thank you for a great 2019. Looking forward to a successful 2020 as well. LPS is currently closed and on vacation until Monday Jan.13,2020 when we will reopen for business.

Grasshoppers have invaded the Vegas Valley. No fear, short term they will not hurt your pool water. However they are getting in everyone's pool and have great difficulty getting out. You can help them by cupping your hand under them and helping them out or using your pool net to capture and release them. Most appear dead but in fact are not. The grasshoppers who don't survive will get sucked into your skimmer port and basket and we will handle that on our next visit to your pool.

Massive swarms of grasshoppers have descended upon Las Vegas this week, and it's startling some residents.

Las Vegas area temperatures are expected to reach 116 degrees this week, as a precaution please watch the water levels in your pool. Water levels allowed to dip below the skimmer port will cause major equipment damage. So please take note and enjoy your pool!
