🔧 Construction Technician – Septic / Metal Structures (1099)
Description:
We are a growing construction company looking for a skilled and reliable technician who wants to grow with a small business long-term.
We’re not looking for someone just passing through — we want someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team.
Responsibilities:
• Septic system installations
• Operating trench diggers / excavation equipment
• Installing metal structures (carports, buildings, etc.)
• Hauling materials using truck and trailer
• General construction and job site work
Requirements:
• Experience with septic and/or plumbing
• Experience operating trenching/excavation equipment
• Must be able to drive truck and pull trailer
• Experience with metal structures (preferred)
• Must have your own tools
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Strong work ethic
Work Environment:
• Work is primarily outdoors year-round
• Must be able to handle Texas heat and physically demanding work
Pay:
• $20–$30/hour (based on experience)
• Performance-based bonuses available
• 1099 contract position
