This picture is from 6 months ago, I would play him music during our visits and be more loud and annoying than usual to try and capture his attention.....
It's been a couple weeks. These are -- these were -- his hands, an old trope -- at once powerful then suddenly boney and weak. He's wearing his Dodger's shirt. And In his hands the original license plate for A.C. Torres & Sons Plumbing -- A relic from humble beginnings ( A vanity plate on an El Camino Plumbing Truck was light-years ahead of its time in the late 70's). This is unabashed family pride and a testament to how far hard work will get you, your kids, and your spoiled-ass grandkids lol, all 40 of us. Thank you Tata, thank you dad. I owe it all to you, you broke your body for us. I owe it all to you. As Tata would say, "G'on Dookie! " Love you Pop, rest in peace, we'll be okay, because YOU. All because YOU.
