A Bigfork native, he graduated from Montana Technological University in 2026 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, where he competed in athletics and was active in ASME (the American Society of Mechanical Engineers).

In his own words: "I was drawn to civil engineering as an opportunity to enhance the local communities that are proud to call Montana their home."

Robert Peccia & Associates is looking for a CADD Operator/Designer with Revit experience to join our Structures Group. You'd work closely with our engineers to prepare the drawings and construction documents behind our structural projects, from commercial buildings and water and wastewater infrastructure to adaptive reuse and residential work. No two weeks look quite the same.

At RPA, you're an employee-owner from day one. We are 100% employee-owned, and everyone here has a real stake in the work we do.

This month marks Theron's one-year anniversary with RPA, and we couldn't be more glad to have him on the team!

In his own words: "I have really enjoyed getting to know everyone and becoming a part of the team. I've loved the diverse projects, especially getting to work with other RPA groups. It's been a great first year, and I'm looking forward to many more!"

When he's not tackling projects at RPA, Theron stays busy coaching and cheering on his boys in baseball and football. And when things slow down, you'll find him camping with his family or out hunting and fishing with his sons.

RPA is thrilled to welcome Chris Nelson to our Water & Wastewater Group as an Engineering Designer! Chris is already a familiar face around here, having interned with RPA in the summer of 2025 before joining full time. He studied civil engineering at Montana Technological University in Butte and is currently supporting pump station projects for the City of Kalispell. A proud Montanan with 10 years in the state, Chris spends his time outside of work fly fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes, and hiking with his wife, Lani. We are lucky to have him back. Welcome, Chris! 🎉

The Polson Airport is officially back open, and we're proud to have led the engineering behind it. Our team put in more than 4,590 engineering hours to bring this reconstruction to life: 29,209 cubic yards of dirt moved, 3.25 miles of edge drain laid, and 33,433 square yards of fabric installed. Great work by everyone on site, and thank you to our partners at Knife River and the Lake County community. Welcome back!

RPA is excited to welcome Lucas Gleasman to our Site Civil Group as an Engineering Designer! Lucas brings five years of experience as a field oversight engineer and construction project engineer on the Anaconda Superfund site cleanup in Anaconda, MT. He attended Carroll College here in Helena and enjoys spending time outdoors golfing, hiking, hunting, and biking with his dog. Welcome, Lucas! 🎉

✈️ Plains Airport just got some great upgrades!

RPA is proud to have partnered with Sanders County on major upgrades, including a new self-serve fuel system (Jet A and 100LL) and a brand-new pilot's lounge. These improvements mean reliable fueling, modern amenities, and a comfortable place for local and visiting pilots to land, refuel, and relax.
