Intermountain is the only Trane dealer in the Helena area and also sells systems from numerous other manufacturers including Honeywell, Mitsubishi, Gensco, and WaterFurnace Geothermal Heat Pumps.

🎉 TEAM MEMBER TUESDAY: DUSTY PAINTER! 🎉

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Dusty Painter, who has been a valued member of the Intermountain Heating & Air Conditioning team for four years! ❤️

Dusty serves as our HR Administrative Assistant, bringing a unique and diverse background to her role. Before joining Intermountain, she worked in dental hygiene and dental assisting, as well as in warehouse operations, where she gained experience in department layout, clothing inventory and stocking, and forklift operations.

Since joining our team, Dusty has continued to invest in herself through continuing education and professional development. She consistently goes above and beyond to help us implement new programs, systems, and processes that help our company continue to grow and improve. Her dedication, reliability, and attention to detail make her an important part of our team!

Outside of work, Dusty loves spending time with her husband and her two fur babies, Marley and Rainey. 🐾❤️

Her biggest goal this year? Getting their home completed and throwing an AMAZING Halloween party! 🎃👻 And if you know Dusty, you know Halloween is definitely her favorite holiday!

When she’s not working, Dusty loves getting creative. From making beautiful charcuterie boards and gem art pictures to creating custom hats and shirts, she always finds a way to put her creative touch on things. She also enjoys surfing and spending time with friends.

Dusty is dedicated to what she does, dependable, always on time, and holds herself to a high standard. Her perfectionist mindset and commitment to doing things right are just a few of the qualities that make her such a valuable part of the Intermountain family.

🔥 TEAM MEMBER TUESDAY: CHAD O’SHEA 🔥

Today, we’re proud to recognize Chad O’Shea and the incredible growth he has achieved during his time with Intermountain Heating & Air Conditioning!

Chad joined our team in 2019 as a Retrofit Installer and has continued to challenge himself, learn, and grow throughout his career. From Retrofit Installation, to New Construction, to Service, and now into Retrofit Sales and Retrofit Supervision, Chad has embraced every opportunity to expand his knowledge and take on new responsibilities.

One of the things that makes Chad such a valuable part of our team is his willingness to self-train, step outside his comfort zone, and become a positive and motivational leader. His journey is a great example of what can happen when hard work, accountability, determination, and opportunity come together.

Chad’s goal is to encourage others to try things outside of their comfort zone, recognize their own potential, and continue growing alongside the team. One of his favorite parts of his journey has been learning the HVAC industry from the ground up—from installations to service—while also becoming a stronger and more confident communicator.

We love that Chad has taken advantage of the opportunities available to him and has trusted our team to challenge him, push him beyond what he thought he was capable of, and help him achieve both professional and personal goals.

And speaking of personal goals… when Chad first started with Intermountain, one of his biggest goals was to upgrade his farm equipment. Through hard work, dedication, and being held accountable to his goals, Chad was able to make that happen—and, just like we encourage in our team, he’s already setting new goals!

Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his high school sweetheart and wife of 24 years, along with their kids. He loves everything outdoors, including fishing, boating, and hunting, and especially enjoys making memories with his brother Brad while farming.

Chad, thank you for your dedication, leadership, and willingness to keep growing. We’re proud to have you on the Intermountain team and excited to see where your next chapter takes you!

TEAM MEMBER TUESDAY! 🔧⭐

Today we’re celebrating Jordon Brewer—a valued member of the Intermountain Heating & Air Conditioning team since 2014!

Jordon started his career with us as an installer before discovering where his skills, creativity, and talent truly shine: our fabrication shop! 🛠️

Many of our builders, clients, and customers looking for custom fabrication know Jordon for his incredible craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and, of course, his great sense of humor. 😆 (Except Heather… Jordon apparently enjoys leaving her spiders. 🕷️ And she HATES spiders! 😂)

Over the years, Jordon has truly appreciated the training, knowledge, and personal growth he has experienced at Intermountain Heating. He looks forward to continuing to learn, grow, and be part of the team for many years to come.

One of Jordon’s biggest inspirations is his father, who instilled in him a strong passion for mechanics, dedication, and the value of hard work.

When asked about his favorite part of the fab shop, Jordon didn’t hesitate: CUSTOM ORDERS! His favorite accomplishment so far was helping fabricate custom RZR doors out of signs. His words? “They turned out sweet!” 😎

Outside of work, Jordon enjoys fishing, cruising through the mountains, riding bikes, and—most importantly—water balloon fights with his kids! 💦😂

Jordon is also our go-to warehouse guy, helping keep the supplies and materials our technicians need stocked and ready to serve our amazing customers. (Unless it’s a custom order, of course! 😉)

Another thing Jordon is passionate about is educating customers. He enjoys explaining airflow, why proper installation matters, and walking customers through the “why” behind things like not closing or covering vents.

Jordon shared that it took him a couple of years to fully understand CFM and static pressure and how those concepts impact HVAC systems. But once you understand it, he says, “It’s something you will never forget!”

And that’s one thing we love about this industry—we’re all human, HVAC is constantly changing, and there is always something new to learn. Jordon continues to grow, share his knowledge, and bring his unique skills and personality to our team every day.

Today, we’re proud to feature Justin, a valued member of our team who has been with us since March 2007! 🎉

Justin moved to Montana from Salt Lake City with years of prior HVAC experience and has built an incredible career with our company. He started as a Residential Installer, worked his way through various positions within the company, transitioned into Commercial HVAC, and ultimately earned his way to becoming our Commercial Foreman.

Today, Justin leads a crew of five, helping keep projects on schedule while ensuring our commercial installations are completed with the quality, professionalism, and attention to detail our customers expect.

Justin is someone we can count on. He is highly reliable and takes pride in holding his team accountable to high standards. His leadership is built on resilience, consistency, continuous learning, and growth. Justin encourages his team to develop their skills, learn from challenges, and continue growing both individually and professionally. His experience and willingness to share his knowledge have helped strengthen the entire commercial team. 💪🔧

When Justin isn’t working, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, kids, and grandkids, as well as sharing a cold b**r with close friends and family. He’s also an avid Seattle Seahawks fan—so football season is definitely a big deal around the Justin household! 🏈💙💚

Today, we’re proud to spotlight Rick, a valued member of the Intermountain Heating team for 19 years and counting! 👏

Rick’s dedication and hard work have helped him grow through the ranks, from Helper Installer to Installer 1, Installer 2, Lead Installer, and now Foreman of New Construction. In his current role, Rick oversees projects and helps lead and manage a team of seven. His experience, leadership, and commitment make him an incredible asset to our team!

When Rick isn’t at work, he enjoys making memories with his daughter, Chey, spending quality time with his father, and enjoying the great outdoors through hiking and hunting. Of course, we can’t forget his longtime, fur-ever friend, Charlee! ❤️

Rick also has a true passion for rodeo and bull riding. During the summer, he dedicates much of his spare time to helping and mentoring young bull riders, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation. He also gives back to the community through his volunteer work with the East Helena Rodeo Association. 🐂🤠

We’re grateful for everything Rick brings to Intermountain Heating—not only as a leader and teammate, but as someone who has dedicated nearly two decades to our company and continues to make a difference in his community.
