In 1974 Roger Barrett Sr. founded Country Carpenters, Inc with his first customer, Ellie. Country Carpenters transformed the 1820s barn on her property into a barn home that she still lives in to this day. Hear the heartfelt story of preserving its original beams, weathering the 1888 snowstorm, and honoring the men who built it by hand. From chestnut and oak beams to priceless memories, this barn is more than a structure—it’s a piece of history.
