We built this shelving unit out to fit in to a dead corner in a clients kitchen. Two static lower shelves and an adjustable upper shelf. She now has space to keep all her cookbooks handy and accessible and a small extension of useable counter space! Sometimes the smaller or quicker projects become our favorite.

New year, new fence for this homeowner!

Our Tandem Team spent a bit of time closer to home recently reworking and redirecting an exterior set of stairs that lead to our newest Airbnb, The Little Gardener’s Cottage in the heart of Camden. This allows a more private entrance for our guests

We were able to reuse most of the bottom stairs, rebuilt a few spots where needed, poured a concrete/stone footer, reattached, trimmed out, pressure washed and finished them off with a Woodscapes solid stain from .

It’s been a season of decks and re-envisioning of outdoor spaces for our Tandem team here recently. Once dried out it will be stained to match the original deck. Between their family and hosting friends and extended family, this deck extension is a game changer for these clients.

Swipe through for the before and during pics of another recent bathroom entrusted to our Tandem team. Our clients had cracking tiles and a growing moisture/mold situation from an undetected source. The poured pan had been leaking under the tiled floor and consequently caused damage to the surrounding subfloor and floor joists. We ended up ripping everything out, having a new flooring structure and subfloor installed and built everything back up from there. We relocated the toilet slightly too and were able to reuse the vanity and some other fixtures to save the homeowners a good bit of money. We love helping solve issues and do everything we can to work within budget constraints!

Happy New Years from the Tandem Team! Scroll through for some before pics of the last project of 2024. This property on Lake Wateree had a good bit of wood rot around the exterior, broken glass across the back and in need of general repairs, paint and some project managing. We reframed the opening for these aluminum framed glass panels, installed panels with an amazing ceramic tint, replaced and repaired siding and trim where needed, prepped and painted the full exterior and interior window trim and addressed a few other needs. What a transformation new glass, trim and paint creates! What can we help with at your property? How can we help make your house feel more like home?
