For this project, HB Kitchen & Bath paired a Woodline 04 light wood vanity with a white quartz countertop to create a clean, bright, and timeless bathroom. Concealed backlighting behind the smart mirror provides soft, even illumination while enhancing everyday functionality.

A comfortable kitchen is built on the details.

📍This townhouse project in San Jose was designed with one goal in mind: creating a clean, timeless space that’s easy to live in every day.

Look a little closer, and you’ll notice the craftsmanship behind the design:

Keep the Cabinets, Upgrade What Matters Most

For this kitchen renovation, the homeowners decided not to tear everything out and start over.

The existing cabinetry was still in excellent condition, so they chose to preserve it and focus the renovation budget on upgrading the countertops and fixtures.

For the new surfaces, the homeowners selected MSI IvoriTaj. The light-toned stone extends seamlessly from the countertops to the backsplash and around the window, while the island was upgraded with the same material. The result adds visual weight and gives the warm, traditional kitchen a brighter and more refreshed appearance.

To complement the new countertops, the sink-area fixtures were also updated. The new faucet creates a refined focal point in front of the large window. Its metal finish pairs beautifully with the light stone and brings a more polished, modern touch to the space.

The sink area was one of the most detail-sensitive parts of the renovation and highlighted the craftsmanship of the HB Kitchen Bath team. Our team carefully adjusted the installation around the existing cabinetry, window height, and new sink dimensions. Precise corner joints, accurate cutouts, and clean stone finishing helped create a seamless final result.

This investment is not only visible in the finished space—it also makes the kitchen more enjoyable and functional for everyday use.

This project embraces a warm and timeless design, with natural wood cabinetry, light stone surfaces, matching wood flooring, and abundant natural light. Together with the view outside, the whole space feels calm, soft, and inviting.

The kitchen features custom Inset cabinetry by Crystal Cabinets, bringing clean lines, refined proportions, and a subtle classic American charm.

With Crystal Cabinets’ custom craftsmanship and HB Kitchen Bath’s careful on-site installation, every cabinet gap, seam, and alignment was finely adjusted. Hidden storage, built-in appliances, open shelving, and soft lighting are all seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry, keeping the space clean and quiet.

Crystal Cabinets | The Right Way to Design a Villa-Level Kitchen

This newly completed San Ramon project by HB Kitchen Bath shows what truly gives a grand kitchen its presence.

To create a strong visual impact in this spacious home, the kitchen features full-height cabinetry with integrated built-in appliances, creating a clean and complete elevation. Open shelving with hidden lighting was added on the left side to break up the heaviness of the tall cabinets and bring a lighter, more layered feel to the space.

The entire kitchen features custom Inset cabinetry by Crystal Cabinets, allowing the HB Kitchen Bath team to achieve a higher level of refinement in both design and installation. The natural wood cabinetry extends across the space, paired with light stone countertops and matching wood flooring. The result is grand yet understated, with a calm and refined sense of order.

Through precise cabinet construction, customized sizing, and thoughtful detailing, hidden storage, built-in appliances, open shelving, and lighting elements are seamlessly integrated into the overall design. At first glance, the space feels clean and restrained, but every detail reveals careful planning.

The island is the visual centerpiece of the kitchen. Its vintage-inspired double curved stone edge softens the weight of the countertop and pairs beautifully with the natural wood cabinetry and rounded bar stools, creating a softer and more layered look.

Fremont Bathroom Remodel｜Small Space, Fine Craftsmanship

A small bathroom remodel is often where craftsmanship matters the most.

Today we’re sharing two compact bathroom projects completed by HB Kitchen Bath in Fremont.

1️⃣ Layering materials to break up the space

In the first bathroom, we introduced warm wood-look textured tiles as the feature wall. The vertical lines extend all the way up, visually lifting the ceiling height while adding depth and texture to the small space.

The second bathroom takes a different approach, using large-format stone-look wall tiles throughout, paired with clean metal-framed fixtures.

2️⃣ Tile alignment and grout lines that hold up close

A refined bathroom is often defined by the details you notice up close.

From the marble-look wall tiles around the corners to the niche interiors, the tile alignment was carefully planned and executed. The metal trim pieces meet the tile cleanly, and the grout lines are even, smooth, and neatly finished.

These subtle transitions are what make a bathroom feel clean, polished, and well-built.

3️⃣ Hidden details inside the shower area

In both bathrooms, the floor tile layout and white grout lines create a clean geometric look. The linear stainless steel drain sits neatly within the tile layout, keeping the shower floor visually clean while supporting efficient drainage.

From the glass sliding door hardware to the shower control valves, every opening, fixture, and installation point was carefully aligned and leveled.

In a small bathroom, even the smallest misalignment, rough grout line, or uneven transition can become very noticeable. That’s why HB Kitchen Bath pays close attention to every millimeter during the installation process.
