✏️ A day in the life of a general contractor begins at my second home—the local hardware store 🛠️. Believe it or not, I spend a lot of time here picking out materials that are durable yet budget-friendly, because keeping costs low helps ensure my clients stay on track with their budgets 💰.
After that, I head to a networking meeting where I learn new ways to grow my business. More leads mean more opportunities and income — always about building not just structures, but my network too 🔗.
Next, I swing by the current project site to check on progress. I review the plans, see what’s left to do, and ensure everything is moving smoothly. Safety is key, so I meet with the crew for our daily safety briefing—covering small details and tips to keep everyone protected and the project on schedule 👷♂️⚒️. My team is trusted to handle the work once we’re aligned.
