Not every home is wired the same—and not every electrician has experience with a build like this.

We’re back out at BlackRock with RSB Customs, where we’ve been working on multiple homes built with Extreme Panels. These structurally insulated panels use a foam core with specific pathways for electrical, which means the wiring process is completely different from traditional framing.

It takes experience, planning, and knowing how to work within the system.

Selkirk Electric & Integration has developed that experience through multiple Extreme Panel projects, and in this video, Dane walks through exactly how we approach one.

This is what it looks like when electrical and integration are considered from day one. ⚡️

We’re out at BlackRock working alongside RSB Customs on an Extreme Panel home—and this one is going to be incredible. From the unique way we route electrical through the panel system to Lutron RA3 lighting control, Sonos audio, under-cabinet lighting, toe-kick lighting, shower niche lighting, security and more, there’s a lot happening behind these walls before anyone ever sees the finished product.

That’s one of our favorite parts of what we do.

Selkirk Electric & Integration is involved from the early planning and design conversations all the way through the final installation. Because great electrical isn’t just about making everything work—it’s about thinking ahead and creating a home that feels as good to live in as it looks.

We’re handling the complete electrical system for Onyx & Oak Homes —from lighting and outlets to power for its private elevator and AM radio tower. And the views? Lake Coeur d’Alene, Wolf Lodge, and, on a clear day, all the way to Moscow, Idaho.
