Throwback to one of our favorites 🐴🏡

A few years back, we built this custom barn with ADU living quarters in Coeur d’Alene. It still stands out to us.

Downstairs is a working barn with stained board-and-batten siding and cedar X-brace stall doors. Upstairs is a full living space with four dormers, big gable windows, and lots of natural light. A cupola and weathervane finish off the roofline.

Whether you need a place for horses, a guest suite, a rental, or a home base while you build, a barn with an ADU gives you all of it under one roof. 🌲

**Let's clear a few things up. 🦅**

Our marketing department got a little excited with the AI. So, for the record:

❌ We do not frame houses from the back of a bald eagle. (OSHA has opinions, and so does the eagle.)
❌ Our nail guns do not shoot 400 nails a second into the open sky.
❌ No eagle on our crew owns flag sunglasses. We checked. Twice.
❌ There is no cheer squad in crop tops on site. It's just Philip, and he's mostly asking where the chalk line went.
❌ That framing would not pass inspection. Neither would the eagle.

✅ What we DO have: real carpenters, real lumber, real concrete, real permits, and real people who show up when they say they will.

At Patriot Homes, every home is built by actual humans with actual materials, right here in North Idaho. No filters. No eagles harmed in the making of your house.

Your dream home starts long before the first shovel hits the dirt. 🏡

Great builds are planned, not rushed. Before we frame a single wall, our team sits down with you to work through every detail: layout, finishes, site prep, budget, and timeline. Doing that work up front is what lets a project run smoothly once construction starts.

Fall is the perfect time to start planning. Getting your design, permits, and site work lined up over the winter puts you in a great spot for a spring build, ahead of the busy season rush.

At Patriot Homes, we handle it from the ground up, including our own excavation crew and equipment, so your project stays on schedule and in good hands from start to finish.

📐 Ready to turn your plans into a home? Send us a message or give us a call to start planning your new project today.

Sometimes the unexpected happens. Early this morning we witnessed the rare and magical forklift courtship dance on our jobsite. Amazing.

In seriousness this was just preventive maintenance, going thru them before yet another wonderful productive day.

At Patriot Homes, we take pride in keeping our fleet running smooth, so your project will run beautifully from start to finish.
