Texts and TikTok reels from Amanda? Apparently those are more of a long-term project.

Saturdays look a bit different now.

Week one of school: survived. 😂

One thing about this house — we won’t always know where the Gorilla Tape went… but if Owen had it last, you can pretty much guarantee there’s an action figure involved too.

This was what we woke up to.

Spider-Man taped to the ceiling.
“Randy” tied up upside down.
String running through the kitchen like somebody filed a work order at 2 a.m.

At this point, we’re not even asking questions.

We’re just impressed the tape held.

Family owned. Neighbor trusted. Occasionally held together by Gorilla Tape and whatever Owen dreamed up after bedtime. 🤣

School and fall sports are back, which means Randy’s second business is reopening:

Christofferson Family Uber. 🚙

Services include:

• Early-morning transportation
• Last-minute equipment delivery
• Waiting in parking lots
• Turning around for forgotten water bottles
• Listening to kids argue over absolutely nothing
• Receiving zero tips

Garage-door customers actually tell him where they need him to go and are usually ready when he arrives.

The kids could learn something from them. 😂

Your garage door should not sound like it’s dragging a trailer full of scrap metal uphill. 😅

Grinding, popping, scraping, jerking or a brand-new rattle can be your door’s way of telling you something needs attention.

Sometimes it’s worn rollers. Sometimes loose hardware. Sometimes track trouble.

And ignoring the noise usually doesn’t make it cheaper — it just gives the problem more time to invite its friends.

Randy can generally tell a lot from the sound, movement and age of the system.

One thing we don’t recommend: adjusting springs or cables yourself. Those parts are under serious tension.

Fall sports are creeping onto the calendar, which means the garage is about to become a combination of:

🏈 Equipment room
👟 Mudroom
🥨 Snack storage
⚽ Uniform drying station
😅 And the place everyone dumps everything before yelling, “Mom, where’s my stuff?”

At our house, the answer is usually:

“Exactly where you left it.”

That does not mean anyone will actually look there. 😂
