Kitchen Floor Transformation

We received a call from a homeowner after a previous tile installation was done incorrectly. The existing floor was soft, uneven, and lacked the proper preparation needed for a long-lasting tile installation.

We removed the existing flooring and started from the structure up. We installed a completely new subfloor, sistered sagging joists to strengthen the floor system, and installed 3/4” plywood followed by 1/4” HardieBacker for a solid, properly prepared surface.

We then installed 12” x 12” tile throughout the kitchen, finished with Charcoal Gray MAPEI grout, and added a sleek black aluminum transition to complete the look.

The homeowners wanted to keep the same general design but trusted us to make a few changes to give it a cleaner, more finished appearance.

The result: a solid, level, properly installed floor that looks great and is built to last.

Haverford Bathroom job – Last Week’s Project!

We removed the old failing mud bed floor down to the joists and installed a new level subfloor, Hardie Backer, and waterproofing before laying beautiful 6” x 24” wood-look tile with Timber Wood grout. We also updated the vanity, light fixture, mirror, and other finishes. We are doing a full gut bathroom remodel on their other master bathroom in a few weeks also.

We’ll be back in a few days to install the vanity top and faucet to complete the project.

✨ Before & After | Basement Remodel Completed in Havertown, PA ✨

Another project completed, and another happy family!

Our customers wanted to transform their unfinished basement into a comfortable, functional living space where the kids and family could spend quality time together. We were excited to bring their vision to life.

Here’s what we completed:
🔹 Relocated plumbing for the washing machine and installed a new washer outlet box.
🔹 Added a new gas line for the kitchen stove.
🔹 Our partners at Hummingbird Electric installed six new recessed (hat) lights, removed the existing fixtures, added new outlets and switches, and installed the homeowner’s EV charging station after their recent home purchase.
🔹 Framed and finished the basement with new Level Up Renovationed beautiful luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring.
🔹 Enclosed the mechanical room and installed two new doors, including a louvered door for proper ventilation.
🔹 Completed all finish trim and painted the exposed ceiling a bold navy blue for a clean, modern look.

The end result is a warm, inviting space that this family can enjoy for years to come.

Checkmate! Progress update on Havertown kitchen tile floor project. Everything is proceeding smoothly. We have installed a new subfloor, removed two layers of existing tile and cement board, and applied HardieBacker. The finish floor features a checker pattern design with 12”x12” grey and white tiles, complemented by warm grey grout. Final results will be shared soon! 215-882-0125

Wrapped this ceiling up recently. Roof leak destroyed the plaster ceiling. Ripped it out and installed 1/2” rock. Finished

Customers Airbnb in Drexel Hill required replacement of an old cast iron stack. We rebuilt the wall to conceal the exposed stack, applying sheet rock, tape, and spackle, and finishing with new trim along the base.
