I, Melia, have been blessed with an incredible father who helps make this flower farm dream a reality for me and an incredible husband who is the best daddy to our 5 kiddos.

If you’re grieving the loss of your own father or a father figure in your life we want to send you a virtual hug and virtual flowers 🌻

We were honored to be asked to make this custom order for a dear friend who is missing her father this year. We pray that it was a blessing and could bring a small sense of comfort to her on this difficult day.

Good morning and happy Friday! It’s a lovely sunny day with big fluffy clouds and the perfect temperature outside!

I came on here to give a little heads up that we will have the flower cart stocked tomorrow (Friday, June 19th!) but then felt like I needed to do a little farm update and apologize for the radio silence on here.

It’s been a very busy June so far and it feels like we are finally coming up for air. Between finishing planting all of the plots, battling pest pressure, harvesting flowers, arranging flowers, trying to stay on top of endless weeds (all the rain we’ve had is both a blessing and a curse 🤪), direct seeding more summer flowers, planning for next springs flowers, getting this years meat chickens, coaching my daughters softball team and the general duties of a stay at home mom to five kids…. It’s been a lot…But wonderful at the same time….But it’s been hard to slow down and just enjoy what’s right in front of me.

So I took a garden walk and picked some of these Kings Ransom sweet peas all for myself 😍 I’m so glad I could get my hands on a few of these seeds this year because they are every bit worth the hype! I’m going to save as many seeds as possible from them this year so I can grow way more next year!

So all that to say, we will have flowers on the stand tomorrow morning!

P.S. is there any interest in us offering little vases of sweet peas on the flower cart? They smell incredible!

Happy Friday! How’s everyone doing after those storms the last two nights? We had part of our tree come down Wednesday night so we’ve been busy cleaning that up which delayed our flower harvesting and bouquet making the last two days BUT they’re ready and out on the stand for your Friday evening commute!

Due to the extreme heat the next few days, we are not stocking the flower cart. Flower quality would diminish quickly sitting out on the stand and we don’t want that! We are keeping the flowers nice and cool in our cooler. If you’re looking for flowers over the next few days, send us a message! We’d be happy to make something custom for you!

This past week we were asked to make an extra large arrangement for a local family celebrating Shavuot and it was such a joy to create something custom for them. This arrangement was made in a half gallon mason jar and was about 2.5 feet tall! It featured Peonies, Ranunculus, Snapdragons, Saponaria and Bupluerum.
