Raised them, fed them, taught them everything they know — and now they're on my roofs. Worth every bit of it.

Both boys up there rolling out underlayment on fresh decking after a full tear-off. This is the part of the job that makes or breaks a roof — and I trust these two to do it right because I trained them myself.

Family-owned means something when it's actually your family doing the work.

Full tear-off day — old shingles off, decking exposed, and we find out what's actually been hiding up there. Sometimes it's fine. Sometimes it's not. Either way, we tell you the truth before anything new goes on.

This is the layer most homeowners never see — but it's one of the most important parts of a solid roof. We tear it off, check the decking, and build it back up the right way.

Most homeowners never see this part of the job, but honestly, it’s one of the most important.

Under these shingles is proper flashing and waterproofing helping protect this home from future leaks.

Anybody can make a roof look nice for a day.

Water always finds the weak spot first.

That’s why we spend extra time making sure transitions like this are flashed correctly and protected with ice and water shield underneath.

A roof shouldn’t just look good when we leave.
It should stay dry through heavy rain, snow, and West Michigan winters. 🏠

A roof can look good from the ground and still leak if the flashing isn’t done right.

This roof transition needed proper ice and water shield up the wall along with custom flashing to keep water out where these sections meet. These are the spots we see fail all the time when corners get cut.

Anybody can nail shingles on.
The details are what keep a roof dry for years.

Wrapped up another solid week.

One thing we take pride in: keeping the job clean and the property protected the whole way through. Not just at the end when we’re picking up.

Homeowners notice that stuff. And it matters.

We’ve been doing this a long time around West Michigan, and we still treat every job the same way = do it right, don’t cut corners.

You can see the crew up top getting it stripped down the right way.

Do it clean, do it right, and you don’t have problems later.

Before we even get into the tear-off, we take time to protect everything. Plywood up against the house, tarps down along the whole side—keeps siding, windows, and flowers from getting beat up.

Most damage I see isn’t from weather… it’s from sloppy prep.

We don’t do that here. We treat it like it’s our own place.
