This backyard already had a beautiful pergola. What it didn’t have was a finished space underneath it.

Before, the structure extended over grass, which made that part of the backyard feel unfinished and harder to actually use.
Afterwards? There’s a defined outdoor area with room for a table, chairs, and everyday life outside.

Some of our favorite details don’t really show themselves until the sun goes down.

Integrated lighting along a seating wall can completely change the mood of a patio. It adds visibility, highlights the stonework, and gives the whole backyard a warm, finished feel.

If a single paver ever gets damaged, stained, or needs to be replaced, we can usually address that area without tearing up the entire patio.

Now THIS is a backyard built for cooking. 🔥

We packed this setup with a built-in grill, dedicated cooking station, outdoor refrigeration, stainless steel cabinets and drawers, plus a large countertop with plenty of room to prep and serve.

The best part is having everything within reach. Food on the grill, drinks staying cold, storage underneath, and everyone hanging out just a few feet away.

That’s how we like to build outdoor spaces — around how they’ll actually be used.

This space was just sitting there.

There was an empty dirt area, a brick wall closing everything in, and not much reason for the homeowners to use this part of the property.

We removed what wasn’t helping the space and installed pavers around the existing walkway, creating a much cleaner and more open area.

It’s not our biggest transformation, but that’s exactly what we like about it. You don’t always need a massive project to make your home feel noticeably better.

This is exactly why we love a good before and after.

The pool was already there, but the space around it wasn’t doing much for the homeowners. We expanded the hardscape, added a clean paver surface, and gave them a much better place to actually enjoy the pool.

Now there’s room for lounge chairs, a table, and a lot more time outside.
Sometimes the pool isn’t what needs changing. It’s everything around it.
