I had a lot of fun with this project! The homeowners adopted a puppy that grew and grew as they later found out It was part mastiff, and part great Dane. The puppy tore up the yard to the point where it could almost no longer be mowed and was unsafe to walk in .Instead of fighting an uphill battle against the dog digging, I placed boulders all along the edges of the yard along the fencing, the garage and a large mound of boulders near the foundation of the home, which was the dog’s favorite place to dig. We re-graded the whole yard and then covered it with 10 yards of playground mulch so the dog can dig safely and enjoy its backyard!
