Front door that has seen better days! Sanded and scraped to bare wood, stained with Minwax- Red mahogany and given three coats of spar varnish in a satin sheen. A nice rich and even color now.

A new look for this bedroom, a fresh coat of Sherwin-Williams Duration color SW 6178 Clary Sage in a matte sheen. Wainscoting was given a coat of Emerald urethane trim enamel in a satin sheen, color SW 7008 Alabaster. Fresh coat of ceiling paint as well, color Bright White.

Finished up this exterior mahogany door and sidelights. It was in pretty rough shape for not really being that old. Sanded and scraped to bare wood, custom dark walnut color and three coats of spar varnish in a satin sheen.

Finished this exterior up today. Sorry no dramatic before and after pictures as the colors stayed the same. Siding color was unknown so it was matched to the existing color. All of the cedar siding was coated with Sherwin-Williams Woodscape stain and all the trim was painted with Sherwin-Williams Latitude-color Extra White in a satin sheen.

Starting the exterior season off with another lake house. Beautiful day on Lake Keesus, a little windy which always makes power washing fun.

Fresh coat of white on the ceiling, warmed up the walls with a new color-6107 Nomadic Desert. Green accent wall -kcp 1035 Alligator Green.

Dear homeowner,

I will speak for all contractors. Everywhere. (Unofficially, of course)

We only have 2 seasons:
1. Busy
2. Unbelievably busy

It’s busy season now. Our leads times are the smallest they’ll be all year. We have time to estimate your projects. Heck, we even have time to sit at your kitchen table w you and have a cup of coffee and discuss your project. The work flow is manageable.

This is also the time of the year when we get to reconnect w our families and rest up. Heal our bodies and minds.

When the snow melts and spring arrives, our lives become crazy(unbelievably busy season). Our call volume is 7x higher. Our days are 2x longer. We try to make everyone happy. Everyday. All the time. And we only have so many hours in the day.

Owning a contracting business gives you the feeling that all of this can go away at any time. So we don’t take your interest in our services lightly. We break ourselves to do the finest craftwork and run dignified, honest businesses. And answer every call for our services.

Why do I write this? We’re not asking you (the homeowner) for anything but to know these things:
1. We appreciate the heck out of you and your trust
2. You don’t owe us anything. That’s not how we operate.
3. Be patient with us, if you’re able. Especially in the unbelievably busy season.
4. Now is the best time of the year for your home project. Period. Or at least to get your estimate.
