Last night we completed this landscape lighting project for Mrs Sharon Collett, installing 18 landscape lights to highlight her home’s beautiful features and add safety, security, and curb appeal.

Sharon first found us through a Facebook post, and we’re incredibly thankful she trusted Lawn Works with her project.

POV: The mowing list got finished early 🎣

With Sam Daniels on vacation, I told the guys if we could get the mowing list finished in a timely manner we could go fishing at the end of the week and that is exactly what we did!

What started as a normal mowing week somehow turned into:
✔️ crew chaos
✔️ Luke being late again..
✔️ and… a truck tire on fire in the woods?! 😅

We have had a few of our student customers graduate and are moving back home. While we are happy for them and thankful for their support during their time in the area, that also opens up some spots on our mowing route.

And honestly… he wasn’t wrong 😂

This project started with an overgrown backyard full of small trees and brush that had completely taken over. After getting everything opened up and cleaned out, we shifted to the front of the house and completely redid the landscape beds with new plants, irrigation, and fresh mulch.

Crazy what some cleanup and landscaping can do for a property.

Alright… hear me out.

There’s just something about seeing a home come to life after dark!

We wrapped up this install with 20 strategically placed lights to highlight the architecture, guide the walkway, and give the whole property that warm, inviting glow.

While we were at it, we cleaned things up by removing a few dead and overgrown shrubs to open everything up and let the lighting really shine.

Simple changes… big difference.

If your home disappears when the sun goes down, it doesn’t have to. Let’s change that.

Big thank you to Hunter and Jade Welch Bayless for trusting us to completely transform their landscape!

We removed all the old shrubs and mulch and gave this space a fresh start — installing mature foundation shrubs, pops of color with azaleas and a hydrangea, and anchoring the design with a 5’ arborvitae on the end.

To finish it off, we installed new edging and lined the entire bed with 58 variegated liriope for a clean, defined look.

Simple, clean, and built to stand out 🙌

We spent all last week tearing out the old landscaping and replacing it with new shrubs, fresh mulch and rock in preparation for Y-12’s grand opening today.
