Built into the hillside, not fighting it.

This 18x20 stick-built detached garage sits tight against a wooded slope in Wi******er, anchored by a CMU stem wall that handles the grade change. A few details we're proud of:

Board and batten siding with a clean white trim package
Entry overhang with stained timber corbels
Matching carriage-style lights flanking the door
Overhead door with a stacked window row

The retaining wall and driveway were done by others, and they pair well with the finished garage. Good site work makes the build look even better.

Not every build goes according to plan, and this 26x26 stick built garage is a great example. This one took longer to finish and was a messier process than we hoped, but we believe the end result speaks for itself.

Bold black LP SmartPanel board and batten, scissor trusses for a clean vaulted interior, and a copper-toned garage door that ties the whole look together. It's different from most of what we build, and we're proud of how it turned out.

Not every site is flat and ready to go. This 36x40 pole barn needed grading and a cut into a bank before we could start construction. That's the kind of site work our team handles start to finish, so our clients don't have to bring in separate contractors or manage multiple crews.

Wrapping up this 22x24 timber frame carport project and had to share — the craftsmanship on this one speaks for itself!

Posts and beams wrapped with rough cut white pine trim, heavy timber trusses, black steel connector plates, and a burnished slate metal roof come together for a structure that's as strong as it is beautiful. No car left outside, and no compromise on style either.

We recently wrapped up this custom 28' x 30' attic garage build in Wintergreen Resort.

We designed and constructed this detached garage to blend seamlessly with the owner's main home while offering maximum utility and clean overhead storage.

A clean, classic post-frame garage. Simple and built to last.

This one's a straightforward 24x24x10 post-frame garage, and sometimes that's exactly what the customer needs. Two 9x8 garage doors give the owners room to park side by side or split the space between vehicles and equipment, and we included a full electrical package so the garage is ready to actually use from day one: lights, outlets, whatever they need to run out there.

The ivory metal siding and white trim keep it clean and neutral, and the man door on the side gives easy walk-in access without opening the big doors every time.

No frills, no wasted space. Just a solid garage that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

A Bridgewater garage that solves a few problems at once!

This 24x28x9 post-frame garage in Bridgewater had a sloped lot to deal with. Instead of paying for a ton of extra excavation, we built a pressure-treated retaining wall and worked with the hill instead of against it. Cost-effective, and it made for a cleaner build overall.

We also wanted it to actually look like it belonged with the house. So we used painted LP panel siding with battens to echo the Tudor-style half-timbering on the home. Same character, built to last.

And since the roof pitch is steep, we didn't want that space going to waste. There's a full attic room up top, so the owners get a lot more storage than a standard garage would give them.

Built into the hill, matched to the house, and smarter with the space above it. That's what we do here at Simply Garages!

Dormers are becoming a popular option! This 32x36x11 stick built boat garage on Lake Anna has two decorative 6' gable dormers and it turned out looking sharp! The Hardie board and batten siding was chosen to match the house, and the external stairway to the attic room allows it to be a completely separate space from the garage downstairs.
