💧 STOPPING AN UNDERGROUND LEAK — WITHOUT DIGGING IT ALL UP.

When underground cooling pipes begin leaking, the problem isn’t always easy to reach—and tearing everything apart to find the leak can mean major excavation, downtime, and expense.

For this project, our team used a more targeted approach.

Specialized injection rods were driven into the surrounding soil at carefully calculated depths, allowing us to inject grout exactly where it was needed. Using the grout along with the natural pressure of the surrounding ground and water, we were able to redirect the leaking water back toward the piping system and create a seal around the problem area.

In simple terms? 👇

Think of it like building an underground barrier around the leak. Instead of allowing water to continue escaping through the surrounding soil, the injected grout fills and seals those pathways, helping stop the leak where it’s happening.

Ground was unstable at above the culvert pipe under a sidewalk and created a void. The contractor had to replace a section of the culvert but the project came to a stop when the soil started to come in. For this project we stabilize and void fill the soil inside and above the culvert. Preventing the soil from coming in anymore. After that was completed the contractor was able to complete the project.
