ATTENTION: As we do every year during the peak of summer heat, we are switching to our mid-year hours as of this week. Our hours are now:

Mon-Fri: 8am-4pm
Sat: 8am-1pm
Sun: CLOSED

Even despite the heat this week, we received a generous thank you from the East Middle School with a photo of their flourishing garden utilizing the material we donated to their efforts! We’re so happy to support our local community and youth programs!

We look forward to supplying your materials for your next landscape or home improvement project!

Happy Memorial Day from your friends at Nye’s! While some of our crew was serving customers from 8am-12pm today, others participated in the Linglestown Memorial Day Parade! Bill assisted the Lower Paxton Community Foundation & Lower Paxton Christkindlmarkt by pulling their float through the parade with one of our delivery trucks 🛻 🎆 🇺🇸

Collaboration is key for small businesses, and the crew here at Nye’s is so grateful to have relationships with other local small businesses, like Dauphin Lawn Care Service.
The owner, Austin, was kind enough to offer up one of his trucks for us to borrow this week while one of ours was in the shop.
The community has been amazing at blessing us by placing lots of delivery orders this year, so being able to partner in this way allows us to keep serving our customers as planned!

Our crew was surprised and delighted to receive these amazing Thank You notes in the mail today from the Central Dauphin East Middle School educators and students for our donation to their garden for the benefit of Nutripacks. This is why we are happy to donate to these programs, because they make an impact.

An impact with the Nutripack recipients.
An impact with the kids in 7th grade science class.
An impact for supplemental learning for students.
An impact for the Special Appreciation days they have at school.

It’s a fantastic reminder that small kindnesses can have a ripple effect through the community, and we are grateful to be a part of that.

We’re proud to support projects that make a real impact in our community.

When we heard about this school garden initiative, we were more than happy to donate the soil to help bring it to life. Giving students the opportunity to learn, work together, and connect with something as simple and important as growing their own plants is something we believe in.
