After the Endurance Karting 6hr. of VIR we are proud to announce our overall podium
finish with a top spot in Rookie Class. The drivers endured 6 hours of grueling practice on Friday and a 6 hour endurance race on Saturday. We entered 3 karts which included 3 drivers with their first ever endurance event. Our second kart finished 11th overall with our 3rd Kart coming in 19th overall. The weather caused a 30 minute delay in the middle of the race and then shortened by severe weather nearing the 51/2hr. mark. This caused the awards ceremony to be completed remotely. Endurance Racing is about battling the elements of physical and mental fitness. The dynamic of these events promotes collective team work and solidarity. While we only had one kart on podium, it took all 8 drivers, crew members and families uplifting each other and pushing everyone to put a focus on personal improvement. These drivers range in age from 10 to 21 years old. Our goal as a team is teaching everyone of these young adults what it means to work hard and persevere through the trials of life. It’s not about racing, it’s about maturing through the sport of racing. School starts back this week and they each have a responsibility to keep their grades up as we continue to race into the the coming months. With races from NJ, CT, GA, and FL to finish the year out, we expect victory off the track before the performance can be taken to the track. We use this opportunity to invest in our younger generation through our passion and love of Motorsports.
