Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend and got a chance to relax and spend some time with family and friends.
Now that the long weekend is wrapping up, here’s a little thought of the day.
Fall weather is slowly making its way into the area. With that comes leaves, then comes the ice. Ensuring your home is protected is important.
So,
Something doesn’t have to look wrong to not be working properly.
That’s especially true when it comes to your gutters.
Just because your gutters look fine from the ground doesn’t mean they’re working the way they should.
We see this all the time. A gutter can look perfectly normal but still have the wrong pitch, a partial clog, loose hangers, leaking corners, or downspouts that aren’t moving water far enough away from the house.
The whole purpose of your gutter system is pretty simple — catch the water coming off your roof and get it away from your home.
When that doesn’t happen, water can run behind the gutter, overflow in certain areas, wash out landscaping, damage fascia and siding, or collect around your foundation. A lot of these problems start small and go unnoticed until there’s already damage.
That’s why it’s worth having your gutters checked.
If you are in the Harrisburg, Sioux Falls, Tea, Brandon and surrounding areas give us a call. We can schedule a meeting, walk around the property and discuss what was found.
