Family Owned & Operated
10+ years experience! Adams Welding was built from the ground up with one mission: do it right the first time and build systems that last longer than we do. Founded by Adam Stevens in Harrisburg, Arkansas, the company started with welding and field service work and quickly expanded into full-scale grain storage and handling construction. What began as hands-on fabrication grew into a trusted name for turnkey grain facilities across Arkansas and the Midwest. Adam works directly with farmers, mill operators, and industrial clients to design efficient, expandable systems that fit their operation, not just sell equipment. Today, Adams Welding provides:

• Complete grain storage & handling systems
• Structural steel fabrication (US Structures division)
• Grain bin components & supply (Adams Steel Direct)
• Crane services & heavy industrial installation
• Annual inspection & service programs

Adam believes in hard work, clear communication, & building relationships that last for generations. Build with Adams.”

Happy birthday to our shop foreman, Todd Williams! 🎂
Todd runs our shop and still puts in a pile of field work on top of it. There isn't much he can't lay a bead on!Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, & whichever welding process the job calls for. Done right, done on time, every time.
Todd's the one who always pulls a rabbit out his a….HAT

So we moved the schedule around and he's off the whole weekend.
Earned it ten times over. You'll find him on the bank with a fishing pole or in the stands watching his grandbabies kick butt on the football field!!
Ask him which one he's prouder of.

Happy birthday, Todd. Enjoy every minute of it. 🎉

On this day, we honor the heroes, the lives lost, and the courage of a nation that stood together. We will never forget. 9/11 is a day that reminds us of how fragile life is and how strong we can be when we stand together. Holding the families, survivors, and heroes in our thoughts today.

Canada's counter tariffs on US steel and aluminum went into effect at 12:01 a.m. today at 50 percent, after trade talks with Washington collapsed in August. For scale, the US shipped 2.55 million metric tons of steel to Canada last year.

I am not going to pretend I know how that shakes out. What I do know is what it looks like on my side of the fence. Steel Market Update has the mill negotiation rate down to 9 percent on sheet and plate and 4 percent on hot rolled coil, the lowest since the fall of 2021. That is the share of buyers who say mills are willing to deal at all. Plate is averaging around $1,395 a ton. Mills are holding customers to contract minimums, and spot is only saving people $15 to $25 a ton.

Translated: material is not the flexible part of a bid right now.

So here is how I am quoting. Material pricing is good for a set number of days, not open ended. If a job gets approved, I buy the steel that week instead of waiting for the shop schedule to catch up. And if a drawing lets me sub a size that is actually sitting on the floor at the service center, I will tell you, because that can be the difference between three weeks and eight.

None of that is me being difficult. It is the only honest way to hold a number. If you are bidding work into next year, put a material escalation line in it and talk to your fabricator before you commit to a price.

🔥💪 HARD WORK. TOUGH JOB. AMAZING CREW. 💪🔥
Our guys are doing some absolutely incredible work right now! They’re inside of grain bins working 10+ hour days in temperatures reaching over 133°F. 🥵
That kind of work takes dedication, strength, and a work ethic that deserves to be recognized. We are beyond proud of our guys! 👏🇺🇸

But we also want to remind everyone that this kind of heat is extremely dangerous. Heat exhaustion and heat stroke can happen quickly, especially when you're doing hard physical labor in an enclosed space.
❤️ At Adam’s Mobile Welding, our employees aren't just employees — they're family. We care about the people who work for us, and no job is more important than making sure everyone gets home safely.

💧 Drink plenty of water and electrolytes.
🧊 Take cooling breaks.
👀 Watch out for your coworkers.
⚠️ Know the warning signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
🚨 If someone becomes confused, passes out, has a seizure, or has very hot skin, treat it as an emergency.

To our guys out there sweating it out and getting the job done — YOU ARE AWESOME, and we appreciate every single one of you! 💪🔥
Work hard. Work smart. Look out for one another. And most importantly — GO HOME SAFE. ❤️

July Employee of the Month – Alex! 🎉
Congratulations to our July Employee of the Month, Alex, our Sales Manager!

When Alex first joined our team, he wasn’t very tech-savvy, but he never let that slow him down. He jumped right in, asked questions, and has been learning more every single day. He’s always willing to learn something new and is never afraid to ask for help when he needs it.

One thing about Alex, you’ll never have to wonder if he’s in the office! 😂 If you need to focus on work, don’t sit at the desk next to him because every time he moves it sounds like the whole building is falling down. He’s definitely the loudest person in the office, but we love him and wouldn’t have it any other way!

One thing we can always count on is that he’s willing to help wherever he’s needed. Whether it’s working in the office, helping the guys out in the shop, or heading to a job site, he’s always ready to jump in. Even if it’s something he’s never done before, he’ll give it his all and figure it out. Alex has become a great part of our team, and we’re thankful for everything he does. Congratulations, Alex! We appreciate all of your hard work and are proud to have you on our team.

Keep up the great work, Alex! We appreciate everything you do and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you here at Adam’s Welding, Millwright & Crane.👏🏼
