Before you fall in love with a piece of property, make sure it’s the right fit for your dream home! Here are 3 things to consider before you buy:

1. Check the Land & Drainage 🌳 Is the lot flat, sloped, or heavily wooded? Consider grading, clearing, and drainage, as these can impact your building costs. If the property isn't connected to city sewer, make sure you have a perc test completed to determine whether the soil is suitable for a septic system!

2. Verify Utilities & Access 🚧 Is water, sewer or septic, electricity, and internet available? Check road access and whether the property needs a driveway installed. These expenses can add up quickly!
