So right now, about 60% of our customers have weekly services. Of them, only a few have gone biweekly during this month of zero rain and extreme heat. However, with the exception of one who does not have irrigation and just can’t keep up hand watering, they are all really green, the growth rate has just slowed. I truly believe there is something to be said about frequent mowing services. Being on properties more during the prime firing season prepares them for this time of year. Why?? I would say the consistent height of cut. Fewer clippings, better airflow, and encourages growth.

Finished today taming some bushes. I can’t speak for everyone, but I sure do enjoy slowing down and doing things like this when needed. I will admit…I’m not a fan of holly bushes. Seems like I just get poked the entire time 🤣

While I’ve made a few “seasonal” changes, we’ve also got some lawns that are just thriving still! I have to be honest, when we get as much rain as we did this year, I don’t understand why folks don’t try to keep it going? I can see if we were really dry in June, but we had consistent rain through mid July. I know a few folks do a lot of the extras, some just mow consistently and water. 🤔
