Prevention Tips for a Pest-Free June

Eliminate Standing Water: Empty birdbaths, kiddie pools, flowerpot saucers, and gutters weekly. This is the single most effective way to reduce mosquitoes.

Seal Entry Points: Check for cracks around windows, doors, foundations, and utility lines. Use caulk, door sweeps, and weatherstripping to keep ants, spiders, and rodents out.

Maintain Your Yard: Keep grass mowed, trim shrubs away from the house, and remove leaf litter and wood piles. This reduces hiding spots for ticks, spiders, and termites.

Store Food Properly: Keep outdoor trash bins tightly sealed and clean up pet food, crumbs, and spills indoors immediately.
Inspect Regularly: Look for mud tubes (termites), ant trails, or wasp nests early. Early detection prevents bigger problems.

Protect Pets: Use vet-approved flea and tick preventatives, especially if your dogs or cats spend time outdoors.
