The school year has begun. With that, I have been thinking about doing another crochet class. Any thoughts on what the class should be? Should it be a particular project? Another beginner class? A “bring your pattern and supplies for help learning how to read it”? A learn new stitches? Some combination of those? Let me know your thoughts!

Since he is with his new owner, my friend who was in a motorcycle accident last week, here is Kenny. I kept scratching his head as he sat next to me and I was working on his pieces and parts. He was being a little judgmental, staring at me as I frogged 3 or 4 wings for him before deciding on the final pattern. 🤭

It’s finally happening this year! Hubby and I are taking a vacation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We’re going to drive around the state of Maine to stop at these yarn shops, stop at the towns listed on the International Sign Post at the end of RT 5, and see what other fun things we can find! I’ll get a skien (or 2) from each shop, and then make us an afghan from the yarn we got on our trip. If there’s enough left I’ll make a stuffed animal or two. 🥰

A customer at The Shack yesterday asked if I could make a foot bag of a specific color. He wanted the Reggae colors. So I made two different ones. So… my daughter’s boyfriend and his buddies apparently went on an adventure trying to find a hacky sack. Well, I was pretty confident that if I could find out the dimensions and weight of a footbag (because I am not the company that makes Hacky Sacks) then I could surely crochet one! I gave them two to test, and they said it could stand to be a bit heavier. So here we are. I have found a new fun little thing to make while watching tv. These 10 will be heading to The Bethel Sugar Shack tomorrow for sale.
