Good morning everyone on this gray over cast morning. It's going to get warm again today then storms coming thru early evening. Then the bottom to fall out over the weekend.
Yesterday I did 2 batches of planning and gluing, all wide blanks to big for the planner. So let's turn it in to a learning post.
First gluing is the whole width of the final blank but it is glued into 2 blanks, normally in half the lumber tell you where the unglued seam is. Once dried Then it's planned to thickness and biscuits are add in the last glue up to help flash it all up.
This morning some time I have running to do again, I need to get another new sander, I'm down to one 6" random orbital and with just one you end off wasting paper. And I may have to run to Gettysburg just to get psa sanding pad.

Good morning everyone, so how's it going!
I finished the day yesterday with staining. The panel profile was stained before I glued up but the profile ot the rails and stiles still needed done. The idea is that all the profile is one color and the flates are another.
I got half of them done, all the sides. Now the are ready to sand and layout and dato.
Today will be more planning and gluing.

Well good afternoon everyone, man it getting warm out I just got back from running airins.
I don't do a line scale drawings for all peices , some of the smaller straight forward one I just do a simple sketch, like the peices I got in the mix this morning for Jerri. I have 2 more small 6 pane cabinets for a old wholesaler I'd like to get started to, they were ordered months ago and I'm just getting to them. I'm still waiting on confirmation of the size after I questioned it. They have a tall peice I built a few years ago and want to add end cabinets and what they originally ordered is deeper than the original peice.
I thinking I'll get back to the accent staining of all the paneled parts I glued up yesterday, don't feel like a lot of noise this afternoon lol.

ALL RIGHT!!! AWESOME DAY!!! How was your 🤔.

All the paneled parts are glued up and ready for the mix step, stain the rail and stile profiled edges.
Peices like this 2pc linen cabinet are special to me. From bringing home the logs to milling and drying to designing and building is all me! They make me proud of the Woodworker I have become.
Well tomorrow will be starting a peice for Jerri Hall get hers in the mix, more planning, gluing and staining on the linen cabinet. Yes I just might have from my groove 😎!!

Good morning everyone, it's going to get warm today injoy it could be the last one for awhile.
This morning it's time to start taking all these smaller parts and making bigger parts. This will be a very time consuming piece, have to do it in stages so I be get a couple of smaller cabinets in the mix some time this week.
