Fresh look on Main Street in Galena! 🎨

We just wrapped up this storefront transformation for Poopsie's of Galena, right at the beginning of downtown Galena! We can't wait to see how it looks when the new awning is installed.

We said goodbye to the bright blue and gave the storefront a fresh new look with crisp white, refreshed black accents, and newly painted doors. With the amount of foot traffic this building sees, there was plenty of detailed prep and careful planning involved to keep things moving while giving this beautiful old storefront the attention it deserved.

If you’ve never stopped into Poopsie’s, definitely check them out next time you’re walking Main Street. It’s such a fun, unique store and there’s always something interesting to find inside!

A huge thank you to Poopsie’s for trusting Elite Edge Painting and The Painted Gypsy with the transformation. We’re proud to have our work on display right in downtown Galena!

Another Main Street transformation is complete!

This beautiful clothing boutique in downtown Elizabeth received a complete exterior refresh with a timeless color palette designed to complement the historic character of the building while giving it a fresh new identity.

If you're in the area you have to stop in and check out the great deals.

For this project we used:
🔹 Sherwin-Williams Smoky Blue
🔹 Sherwin-Williams Natural Choice
🔹 Sherwin-Williams Iron Ore accents

The goal was to create a storefront that feels inviting, stands out from the surrounding businesses, and will look great for years to come.

The new sign is still on its way, but we're already loving how everything is coming together. We can't wait to share the finished product once it's installed!

Thank you to another wonderful downtown business for trusting Elite Edge Painting with your vision. Even better, this project came to us through a referral from another happy client just a few doors down. That kind of trust means everything to us.

If your home or business could use a fresh look, we'd love to help.

We recently refreshed the trim on this garage to match the existing trim on the home, bringing everything back together for a more consistent, cohesive exterior.

After careful color matching and a fresh coat of paint, the garage now feels like it belongs with the rest of the property.

Taking a deck from weathered to refreshed. We pressure washed and deep cleaned and then applied two coats of solid stain.

Solid prep work is a must for deck longevity.

We had the opportunity to help put the finishing touches on my sister-in-law’s new health clinic location!

The space got a fresh new look with Rookwood Green accent walls, balanced with the soft warmth of Alabaster. We also installed new LVP flooring to bring everything together and give the clinic a clean, welcoming feel.

It’s always rewarding to see a space completely transform, but this one was a little extra special being able to help family get their new business space ready to open its doors.

Wishing her nothing but success in the new space!

There's something special about an older farmhouse. This home is over 120 years old with the original plaster showing signs of failure in a couple areas. After removing the areas and replastering, proper prep begins.

Upstairs, we refreshed the bedroom and bathroom walls while softening the ceilings to create a more inviting space that still honors the home's character.

Downstairs, fresh new colors transformed the kitchen, adding warmth and brightness while perfectly complementing the existing countertops and backsplash.

Whether it's a century-old farmhouse or a newer home, the right preparation and paint can completely change the feel of a space. Thank you for trusting Elite Edge Painting to be part of the transformation!

Another deck brought back to life in beautiful Galena, Il

We recently completed this weathered deck using Sherwin-Williams Cedar Solid Stain, giving it a fresh, uniform finish while protecting the wood for years to come.

As with any exterior project, preparation is everything. This deck was:
Chemically cleaned to remove dirt, mildew, and weathering
Thoroughly pressure washed
Neutralized to restore the wood's proper pH balance
Allowed ample time to dry before staining

The recent stretch of heavy rainstorms extended our timeline, but we never rush the process. Proper drying conditions are critical to achieving a durable, long-lasting finish, and we waited until the boards were ready before applying stain.

The result? A beautiful, refreshed deck that's ready to be enjoyed all season long.

If your deck is looking faded, weathered, or overdue for maintenance, reach out to Elite Edge Painting LLC for a free estimate.
