Exciting progress at South Morgan Point Retail Center!

Our team at Weatherford Construction Group has been hard at work preparing this property for its next chapter.

We’re renovating the existing Building A into new retail spaces, removing the existing exterior down to the structural steel and preparing for a complete facelift.

At the same time, we’ve cleared the land for Building B, which will bring additional retail space to the development.

It’s exciting to see the transformation taking shape, and we’re looking forward to sharing more as construction progresses.

Another project wrapping up for Weatherford Construction Group.

We recently completed HVAC upgrades at Hendrick Lexus in Charleston, including replacement of the rooftop units, new fabric duct distribution, and the associated masonry and fire protection modifications required to make everything work within the existing facility.

The drone caught a great view of the team flying the new units into place.

Renovations in an active dealership require careful planning, coordination, and communication to keep operations moving while the work gets done. We appreciate the trust Hendrick Automotive Group placed in our team and everyone who helped bring this project across the finish line.

A pretty good way to wrap up a summer internship! 🎣

Today we traded the jobsite for the Cooper River to celebrate our intern, Gabe, with an afternoon of fishing and lunch at the Island Cabana.

Gabe spent much of his summer working with our team on the Ability Trimodal project, helping with quality control of the retrofit insulation installation and gaining some great hands-on field experience.

Friday marks his last day with WCG before heading back to the University of South Carolina Beaufort, where he’s majoring in Civil Engineering and pitches for the baseball team.

We’ve enjoyed having Gabe on the WCG team this summer and appreciate all of his hard work. Good luck this year, Gabe — in the classroom and on the mound! ⚾️

Exciting things are coming to Morgan Point!

Weatherford Construction Group is proud to serve as the general contractor for the redevelopment of Morgan Point.

This project will transform an existing property into a vibrant destination featuring new retail, office, and flex space, creating new opportunities for businesses and the surrounding community.

After months of collaboration during preconstruction, we’re excited to begin bringing this vision to life.

Leasing opportunities are now available through King & Society, and we look forward to sharing construction updates as the project progresses.

Proud to announce another design-build industrial project for Weatherford Construction Group!

We’re excited to partner with Ability Tri-Modal on the design and planned renovation of over 257,000 SF of existing warehouse space in Ladson, SC.

Our team is currently working through design, budgeting, and coordination to upgrade the facility with improved insulation, HVAC systems, and energy-efficient solutions that will create a more comfortable and productive work environment.
