🔥 CHARLESTON… YOUR A/C IS FIGHTING FOR ITS LIFE TOO. 🔥

With outside temps around 98° and heat indexes pushing 119°, even a properly working HVAC system can struggle to keep up.

And I’ll use my own house as the example. 😂 My thermostat is set to 70° and we’re sitting at 75° right now.

Before anyone says it… my refrigerant charge is perfect. Trust me, I checked. 🤣🔧

During the hottest part of the afternoon, especially with the sun beating directly on the house, we can fall several degrees behind. Once the sun goes down and that heat load drops, the house catches right back up.

So if your A/C is running nonstop and you’re a few degrees above setpoint during these extreme afternoon temperatures, it doesn’t automatically mean something is wrong with your system. It may simply be doing everything it can against an absolutely brutal heat load.

Now, if it never catches back up, isn’t cooling at all, or you notice something unusual—that’s when it’s time to have it checked.
