One year at GGB Architects and Gage still hasn’t realized we’re keeping him forever. 🤝
What started with discovering architecture in 2017 somehow spiraled into earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University, interning with GGB during summer breaks, and then accidentally becoming a full-time architect.
Gage’s design process can best be described as:
“Try something cool. Break it. Fix it. Make it cooler.”
And honest, it works. His Rock Climbing Center project in Bedford, VA, was even selected for an AIA showcase in New Orleans. Casual.
When he’s not designing, Gage is usually sketching, watching anime, getting way too competitive over chess, planning trips, or convincing himself that “one more video game” won’t keep him up until 2 AM.
Fun fact: he studied abroad in Paris for four months and dreams of owning a vacation home in Japan someday... so if he randomly disappears, we’ll know he made it. ✈️
Happy 1-year anniversary, Gage! Thanks for surviving your first year with us. 🎉
