Some drain cleanouts sit out in the open. This one was hiding in the bushes. 🌲

Our tech got in there, ran the cable, and pulled out a nice wad of roots with a paper towel tangled up in it. Roots find their way into sewer lines through tiny cracks and joints, and once something like a paper towel gets caught on them, the clog builds fast. Call it a surgical drain cleaning job: in tight, careful with the landscaping, and the line is flowing again.

With 20 years in drain cleaning and trenchless sewer repair, Mike has seen it all. A lot of the sewer lines out there were put in 50 to 120 years ago, and they're starting to fail from root intrusion, offset joints, and rusting cast iron with holes in it.
