1954 Dallas home. Original brick. Original mortar. And someone along the way used Portland cement to "patch" a tuck-point job that should have used lime mortar. 🏛️

The result: the harder mortar pulled moisture away from the original brick. Spalling accelerated. By the time we arrived, the damage zone was twice the size of the original repair.

LintelLOCK™ Lifetime Warranty — Whitestone Construction:

✅ Hydraulic realignment stays within 0.5 degrees of level
✅ Three-point anchor system — if any anchor fails, we replace it
✅ Mortar restoration — if our mortar fails before the brick, we redo it
✅ Structural integrity of the repair as a whole
✅ Coverage transfers to new owners if you sell the home

What it doesn't cover: new cracks in unrepaired sections, foundation movement affecting areas outside the repair zone, physical damage from impact.

Denton job, last month. Homeowner had gotten two other quotes. Both contractors told her the crack was cosmetic. 🔧

It wasn't cosmetic.

We could see the rotation from the driveway. The door was out of square — you could feel it in the resistance on the way down. The left side of the frame had separated 3/8 of an inch.

Two contractors. Two wrong diagnoses. Neither one was looking for torsional failure because neither was trained to spot it.

We assessed, corrected, anchored, and restored. Done the same day. She called that evening to say the garage door was quieter than it had been in years.

Three-inch horizontal crack above the garage. You could see daylight through parts of the mortar joint. The lintel had rotated so far the door had stopped closing flush.
