Over the past few months, our Emerging Professionals Group has been hard at work bringing our vision to life for CANstruction—a unique competition organized by the AIA where teams design and build large-scale structures entirely out of canned goods for charity. This experience combined innovation, teamwork, and artistry. This year, AIA Philadelphia’s CANstruction theme, “Inventions/Innovations that Shaped American History,” inspired us to think about everyday objects that have made a lasting impact. Our choice? The crayon.

Our Spiezle team had a fantastic time at the 64th Annual NJASBO Conference in Atlantic City this week! The event provided a great opportunity to connect with school business leaders, engage in meaningful conversations, and exchange ideas with professionals dedicated to advancing education. We enjoyed discussing the future of our schools and communities and look forward to continuing the relationships and conversations sparked throughout the week.

As a proud hole sponsor, we enjoyed a great day connecting with fellow community and industry partners while kicking off an exciting week ahead.

Spiezle is proud to have attended today’s groundbreaking for the Automotive Technology Training Center at Santa Fe College’s Blount Center! John F. Wright, Gianna Martinez and Sean Pruckowski stood alongside President Paul Broadie II, Ph.D., representatives from the College Board and Foundation, as well as team members from the Facilities Department, the Automotive Program and our builder partner Scorpio Corp. to ceremonially break ground on this transformative project. Hundreds gathered to celebrate this exciting moment, which marks a significant step forward for the new, state-of-the-art facility that will support the College’s growing automotive program.

The new center will feature auto repair bays, specialized vehicle testing and calibration areas, classroom and lab suites, a computer lab, library, study spaces, and tool and equipment storage, enhancing hands-on learning while strengthening connections with community partners and local businesses.

We’re proud to be part of a project that will benefit so many students and local industry for years to come, and to help bring this dynamic learning environment to life and support the continued success and expansion of Santa Fe College’s program!

We were proud to support last night’s Entertainment Community Fund Gala, which honored the cast of HBO’s The Gilded Age, Tony Award-winning producer Daryl Roth, and Japanese musician and global icon Yoshiki with the Entertainment Community Fund Medal of Honor. The annual gala raises critical support for programs that foster stability, resiliency, and a lifelong safety net for members of the performing arts and entertainment industry nationwide.

Spiezle has partnered with The Entertainment Community Fund for many years, and we are honored to support their mission and services.

Our team was proud to attend the ribbon-cutting for the new Haddonfield Police Department, delivered in close collaboration with the Camden County Government and the Borough of Haddonfield . This exciting project transformed a historic bank into a modern, community-focused police facility, blending thoughtful design with essential functionality. The new space includes key operational areas and introduces a welcoming entrance courtyard that reimagines the site. The result is a refreshed civic destination that enhances public safety while contributing to the character and experience of the surrounding neighborhood.

We’re proud to support the Ocean County Association of School Business officials and the important work they do to raise scholarship funds for Ocean County Public High School students.

Our team had an amazing time at CANstruction Philadelphia’s Build Night on Monday, bringing our crayon-inspired design to life! Standing nearly 5 feet tall and built with 922 cans, this colorful creation shows how simple tools can inspire imagination on a grand scale.

Catch our installation alongside seven other incredible designs through May 29 at Cherry Street Pier and help support a great cause—all cans will be donated to Philabundance!
