🩷 FOLLOW MY JOURNEY — BUSINESS, HEALTH & GETTING MY SEXY BACK! 😂💪🏽

First, BIG shoutout to Apex Pharmacy in Hamden, Connecticut! 🙌🏽

I bought a little nebulizer machine from them for about $60 because I’ve been so sick and having trouble with my breathing.

Y’all… 😂 it’s a little pink piggy nebulizer that looks like it’s made for a child, so I honestly didn’t expect much.

BUT THAT LITTLE PIG PACKS A PUNCH! 🐷💨😂

I put my albuterol medication in it, turned it on, and OMG!

I actually had to put it down for a minute because the treatment felt so strong. But it REALLY helped open up my lungs, and I could finally breathe better. 🙏🏽

🥬🍎 NOW FOR THE BIGGER CHANGE…

For almost two weeks, I’ve been drinking fresh fruit and vegetable juices and completely changing the way I eat.

Being sick has actually pushed me to look at my health differently.

I’ve been working so much for so many years that I haven’t always prioritized myself the way I should.

And something has changed in me.

I have absolutely NO desire to eat meat anymore.

So I’m officially going VEGAN AGAIN! 🌱

Some people may not know this, but before the pandemic, I was vegan for about 4½ years. So this isn’t completely new for me —

I’m just returning to something I already know my body loves.

I’ve also dropped a significant amount of weight very quickly while I’ve been sick and changing my diet.

I’m paying attention to my body, staying hydrated, and focusing on getting healthy — not just the number on the scale.

But YES… your girl is about to lose this weight, get healthier, move around easier AND GET MY SEXY BACK! 😂😂💃🏽

💪🏽 FOLLOW MY JOURNEY.

I’m a woman business owner running SADIE’S PRO CLEANING, a biohazard and forensic crime scene cleaning company with operations in Connecticut and Florida.

I work. I travel. I run crews.

I help families through some of the hardest situations imaginable.

And sometimes, as business owners, we become so focused on taking care of everybody and everything that we forget we have to take care of ourselves too.

I especially want other women — single mothers, women starting from nothing, and women trying to build businesses in industries where they don’t see many people who look like them — to know:

✨ THE BUSINESS OWNER IS FINALLY PUTTING HERSELF ON THE SCHEDULE. ❤️

I’ve been in business for almost 10 years, and if there’s one thing I know how to do, it’s WORK. 😂

I work hard.

I travel constantly between Connecticut and Florida.

I take care of my business, my clients, my employees, my family, and everybody who needs me.

But somewhere in all of that…
I stopped making my own health a priority.

I’ve been tired.
Getting out of breath.
Eating whatever was convenient because I’m always working or traveling. And recently, I got REALLY sick with a terrible sinus/respiratory illness that completely knocked me down. I’ve even needed nebulizer treatments just to help me breathe better.

And strangely enough, something positive came out of being sick.

For the last couple of weeks, my body has wanted NOTHING to do with meat, dairy, processed foods, or heavy foods.

All I’ve wanted are fresh fruits, vegetables, fresh-squeezed juices, raw foods and whole foods. 🍓🥑🥒🍉🥕🍋

So that’s what I’ve been giving my body.

I’ve already lost over 10 pounds, and more importantly, this has given me the push I’ve been wanting for a long time.

Some people may not know this, but before the pandemic, I was actually vegan for 4½ years.

When the pandemic started, I went back to eating meat and never made the transition back.

Well… I’M BACK. 🌱

No meat.
No dairy.
Whole foods.
Raw foods.
Fresh juices.
And a whole lot more attention to ME. ❤️

I truly believe sometimes life has a way of forcing us to slow down and reevaluate what we’re doing.

As women and business owners, we can become so focused on building businesses, making money, helping people, raising families and handling EVERYTHING that we forget something extremely important:

WE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THE WOMAN DOING ALL OF IT.

So I’m turning this into a journey.

I’m going to share my progress—
the weight loss, the food, the lifestyle changes, the good days, the difficult days and what I learn along the way.

I want to become healthier.
I want more energy.
I want to feel good in my body again.
I want to take better care of myself.

And YES, Y’ALL…
I WANT MY SEXY BACK TOO! 😂🔥💃🏽

So come on this journey with me.
