Success Means Nothing If You Lose Yourself Along the Way ✨ Lately, I’ve been exhausted. 😴
Running a business, helping clients, taking care of my family, and carrying all the responsibilities that come with being a business owner has kept me incredibly busy.
I’ve been physically and soulfully tired. 😪
I’ve always had faith in God, but if I’m being transparent, I’ve been struggling to nurture my relationship with Him the way I should. I found myself feeling disconnected and desperately needing to get closer to God again.
Last night, my good friend Kasey invited me to the Woman’s You Will Daughters of Deborah Conference in Fort Lauderdale.
It would have meant getting up incredibly early and making a long drive.
Every excuse was there.
I was tired.
I was busy.
I had work to do.
But deep down, I knew my spirit needed this.
So this morning, my daughter Amina and I got in the car and made the trip.
And I am so grateful we did.
The moment I walked into this conference, I felt something different.
I’ve already cried my eyes out.
I’ve already prayed.
And I can tell you without a doubt that the Spirit of God is in this building.
As women, mothers, and business owners, we spend so much time taking care of everyone else that sometimes we forget to take care of our relationship with God.
We convince ourselves we’re too busy.
Too tired.
Too overwhelmed.
But today reminded me of something important:
❤️ If you want to get closer to God, you have to make the effort.
Even when you’re tired.
Even when you don’t feel like it.
Even when life gets busy.
You have to press forward.
Because sometimes God is waiting for you to take that first step.
And when you do, He will meet you there.
Today was exactly what my heart needed, and I’m so thankful I listened to that small voice telling me to come.
🙏 Never get so busy building a business that you neglect your soul or your relationship with God. 🙏
