This is definitely a long shot, but we have a need for a part-time mowing/labor person to join our crew from now until end of November. Schedule is Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Depending on work load, minimum of 16 hrs total. Pays $18-$22/hr based on experience. Call or text 517-618-1575.

Funny how time flies. A. T. Yard Maintenance, LLC has started our 6th season and we have been reflecting on our customer base and realized that we still have many of the same customers we had when we started this adventure! We wanted to bring recognition to our VERY 1st customers, Scott and Jennifer Rier. THIS is how the story goes: Jen was NOT actively looking for a lawn company, BUT Scott was actively, um, COMPLAINING. Scott tells us that he would come home from work and would need to cut the grass, but he really just wanted to do something else. You know, like go for a ride on his bike or workout or just relax. Scott and Jen would get invited to do “fun” things like go float in a friend’s pool but noooo….he had to mow the lawn. (they mowed twice a week). So one day, Jen was flipping through the NextDoor app, and lo and behold, our post came up advertising for mowing services. A grandson and grandma owned business that was new to the game. Jen and Scott prefer to support small businesses so she gave us a call. Her 1st question? Do you mow twice a week? We said yes. The next thing you know, we found ourselves meeting with Jen to look at her lawn & provided her with a quote. WOW!!! Our 1st customer was in the books! Fast forward 6 years and now we do their Spring and Fall clean-up, mulching and yes, we are still mowing twice a week. Scott likes to tell the story of how they LOVE when they are with their friends floating in the pool and their watches go off with a text message letting them know Alex is on the way to mow!!! Jen and Scott have a huge appreciation for nature and they respect the fact that we hold off doing clean-ups too early in the season in order to not disrupt the eco system. Us having an awareness speaks volumes to how we do business. WHY would they recommend A. T. Yard Maintenance? We are value-wise, we have the flexibility to mow a neighbors yard when they go on vacation (we don’t do contracts), we have good, consistent communication and work ethic. We show up when we say we are going to show up and take great pride in our work. And yes, sometimes Grandma Bernie still comes out to look at your flower garden needs to help Alex with a quote. We know it's tempting...but DON'T DO IT! Today is making us all want to go out and clean up from the winter. We get it, but it's way too early to uncover those precious plants. The sun and warm air have us wanting more, including our plants. My lilies are raising their little heads out of the mulch thinking it's time, but unfortunately, it's not. What you CAN DO is give us a call and get on our Spring Clean-Up list so we can arrange to come out and give you a quote! We have lots of services to choose from.
