Getting that polished edge to feel smooth and look uniform all the way around takes more than a grinder and some patience. If the pressure isn't consistent or the passes overlap wrong, you end up with dips and flat spots you can see in the reflection.

Granite doesn't forgive much. Once it's shaped, it's shaped. We use progression polishing to bring it up right, so the finished edge catches light the same way from corner to corner.
