HIRING DIGITAL TEMPLATER/ CAD TECHNICIAN!!!
Lambert Stonework’s is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Digital Templating / CAD Technician to join our team! This role is responsible for performing precise field measurements using our Digital Proliner and creating accurate CAD drawings in Slab Smith for fabrication. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in both field and office environments.
Responsibilities
• Perform on-site digital templating and field measurements for custom projects.
• Create and modify CAD drawings based on field measurements and project specs
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before production.
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and production staff
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Troubleshoot measurement and design issues as they arise.
Qualifications
• Experience with CAD software preferred
• Experience with digital templating equipment is preferred but willing to train
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in countertop, cabinetry or related industries.
• Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes.
• Previous field measurement experience.
