Louisa Park is back and better than ever! Accessibility, safety, and new amenities were key drivers for RSC Architects' design team. Now, local Weehawken Township residents, community members, and students from Roosevelt Middle School can enjoy the park’s new pickleball court, splash pad, basketball court, covered seating areas, swings, and jungle gym equipment as the spring and summer kick into high gear.

We are proud to have contributed to this valuable outdoor community resource!

Following up on our County College of Morris Center for Health Professions construction site visit, RSC Architects’ staff members traded their hard hats for jackets, ties, and dresses to celebrate the important and impactful work that the County College of Morris Foundation is championing on campus. We have seen firsthand the exciting educational opportunities that are continuing to take shape for Morris County’s students, and we’re happy to both contribute to the College’s vision and celebrate the awardees who are helping to make it happen!

🚧 Construction in progress! RSC Architects' staff members donned their hard hats and boots to tour the headway that’s being made on our Health Professions Building at the County College of Morris, and even attended a pre-site visit presentation to learn more about the evolution of the project.

This 80,000 s.f., three-story facility will enhance existing opportunities for the workforce development of future healthcare providers, and offer new experiential programs, certifications, training, and learning spaces for disciplines that have not been previously provided on campus. Designing healthcare-focused spaces within educational facilities is a specialty of RSC’s that unites the expertise of both our educational and healthcare studios. We’re excited to see this facility continue to take shape and to contribute to the education of Morris County’s students!

The future of healthcare is here! Yesterday, RSC Architects – along with Hackensack Meridian Health, DOR (Russo Development, Onyx Equities, and Terminal Construction Corporation), our governor, County members, assembly representatives, Township officials, and dedicated healthcare workers – came together to celebrate the grand opening of the iconic Hackensack Meridian Health and Wellness Center, a first-of-its-kind healthcare facility at a transportation hub.

Described as unprecedented, historic, and forward-thinking, this 332,000 s.f. new, ground-up, seven-story high-rise combines three floors of medical spaces – complete with urgent care, primary care, sports medicine, advanced radiology, and neuroscience practices – with four floors of HMH’s executive offices, training, and conference areas.

RSC is proud to have provided architectural design services for the facility’s core and shell, as well as the interior fit-out of the medical office floors.

Delivered thirty months from its groundbreaking, with extensive NJ TRANSIT, Amtrak, New Jersey Department of Health, and New Jersey Department of Community Affairs coordination, the Hackensack Meridian Health and Wellness Center increases access to care by combining numerous medical modalities and subspecialties within one facility, leverages underutilized land, provides 1,000 new employment opportunities, and reenvisions how New Jersey residents work, heal, and connect – a premise at the core of what RSC strives to deliver.

RSC Architects has been proud to work in partnership with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center to enhance community well-being through the expansion of BNBMC’s Emergency Department, which recently opened – a project designed to improve patient flow, safety, and access to critical behavioral health services.

The expansion integrates a dedicated substance abuse and behavioral care unit informed by the EmPATH model, supporting patients in crisis with dignity, efficiency, and compassionate care.

By reconfiguring existing spaces and expanding into adjacent facilities, this project reduces overcrowding, shortens wait times, and allows behavioral health patients to be treated in an environment that is tailored to their needs – meaning BNBMC can deliver high-quality, compassionate care today and well into the future.

Congratulations to Pennsauken Township on being named an NJBIZ 2026 Top Public Project honoree for their new Library and Municipal Complex!

Designed by RSC Architects, this 54,480 s.f. new facility, which opened in October of 2025, unifies the Township’s public learning spaces, municipal departments, and community-focused programs into one single, architecturally-distinctive facility.

Made possible through a New Jersey Library Construction Act grant, the Pennsauken Library and Municipal Complex is one of just 38 statewide libraries selected to receive a grant within the first round of the program.

A three-story public library – complete with a two-story book stack, adult library reading area, mezzanine, dedicated children’s library, and Cultural Center – is housed within the western side of the building. Its eastern elevation contains the new municipal complex, the Township’s administrative offices, Commissioners’ Public Meeting Room, Caucus Meeting Room, and a variety of shared departmental facilities.

Overall, this combined library and municipal facility has modernized Pennsauken’s municipal operations, expanded their library offerings across age groups, created a venue for community gatherings and cultural connections, and consolidated multiple public functions into a single, accessible location – an exemplary facility with a positive social impact.

This past weekend, RSC Architects’ employees, family members, and pets teamed up to once again support one of our favorite local organizations – Spectrum for Living – at their annual 5K and Doggie Dash, honoring Michael B. Carpenter. This event is a staple for our office and one we look forward to participating in each year – one of our pets even won a first-place medal!

Members from RSC Architects’ Healthcare Studio were on hand to proudly accept AMFP North/Central Jersey's Best Project Award - Acute Care Setting (under $50M) for our architectural work on Hackensack Meridian Health’s Hackensack University Medical Center St. John’s Infill project!

The design of this three-story vertical expansion served as an opportunity to thoughtfully integrate new space within HUMC’s active urban campus.

The result? Fifty new private patient rooms across two floors, including a specialized eight-bed medical/surgical isolation unit designed for rapid containment during future outbreaks.

We’re grateful to have partnered with Hackensack Meridian Health and the broader project team to bring this vision to life!
