Safety isn’t optional — it’s a responsibility!!
Our team completed CPR & emergency response training, because on job sites and in everyday life, knowing what to do can save a life.
A few life-saving reminders everyone should know ⬇️
🫀CPR: Place your hands in the center of the chest and push hard and fast — about 100–120 compressions per minute. Let the chest fully recoil between pushes.
🫁Heimlich Maneuver: If someone can’t cough, speak, or breathe, act immediately. Seconds matter.
🐍Bites & Venom: Stay calm, limit movement, and seek medical help — cutting or sucking venom is a myth.
🚨Cardiac Emergency Signs: Chest pressure, shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness, or pain in the arm, jaw, neck, or back — symptoms aren’t always dramatic and can look different for everyone.
💡 Most people don’t realize: You don’t have to be a medical professional to help — and Good Samaritan laws are designed to protect those who step in during an emergency.
Huge thank you to James City County First Responders for the training and for everything you do for our community. We believe safety is bigger than our company — it’s a responsibility we all share as citizens.
