Today, Hannah met an inspector on a home in Elk City with significant hail damage. In this case, the inspector was thorough, documented the damage correctly (you can see him marking the hail damage with the green chalk on the roof), and approved the entire roof for replacement.

Unfortunately, that’s not always how it goes.

Not every inspector catches everything, and not every homeowner knows what to look for. That’s why we believe it’s important to have a roofing professional present during the inspection process. We know how to identify storm damage, advocate for homeowners, and make sure nothing gets overlooked!

We had a fun surprise at Chamber Coffee this week when the Guthrie News Leader handed us our 2026 Best of the Best Logan County certificate and window decal!

We want to take a moment to say thank you again to everyone who nominated and voted for us. Being recognized as one of Logan County’s Best of the Best is something we don’t take lightly. There are so many incredible businesses and people in this community, and we’re truly humbled that you thought of us.

At the end of the day, awards are great, but what means the most is the trust our neighbors place in us. Whether it’s a roof inspection, helping navigate an insurance claim, or simply answering questions, we’re grateful for every opportunity to serve this community!

Yesterday’s Chamber Coffee was at the guthrie_library, and wow — there is so much happening there this summer!

Here’s some fun things we learned:

Over the last year, the library hosted more than 400 programs, with one event bringing in close to 3,000 people. They’re also helping connect people to opportunity through BlueRecruit, a resource available at libraries across Oklahoma that helps people explore blue-collar careers and certification pathways.

The Summer Reading Program is kicking off soon, and it’s open to all ages! Participants can earn tickets for raffle prizes, all funded by the Friends of the Guthrie Public Library — a group that’s been supporting the library since 1997, now with 125 members and always welcoming more members.

There are also so many fun events coming up this summer, including extreme animals, an Egyptian cryptologist, animal adoptions, and even an adult date night at the end of June.

During the coffee, Guthrie Kiwanis presented the library with a $1,000 donation to help support the summer programs — something they shared they do every year! This community is AWESOME.

Last week, Jonny officially graduated from Leadership Guthrie after spending the last year diving deeper into the community we’re proud to call home. From August through May, he joined fellow emerging leaders once a month to learn about the incredible organizations, businesses, history, and opportunities that make Guthrie so special.

Leadership Guthrie is designed to identify and motivate future community leaders by helping participants better understand the city, connect with leaders from all sectors, and grow their involvement in the community.

We’re proud of Jonny for investing his time into learning more about our community and finding even more ways to serve and support Guthrie.
