💚 Meet the Smedleys — The Family Behind Blaine’s Drains & Plumbing
We figured it was time to put some faces behind the name! 👋
We’re the Smedley family — Blaine, Jane, and our six kiddos — and when we say Blaine’s Drains & Plumbing is a family-owned, local business, we mean it in every sense of the word.
Guthrie isn’t just where we work. It’s home.
Blaine was born and raised right here in Guthrie, with generations of his family calling this community home. I joined him here when we got married 13 years ago, and together we’ve built our life, raised our six kids, made countless memories, and now we get to build a business right here too.
Blaine has spent more than 13 years in the plumbing trade, and starting Blaine’s Drains & Plumbing has given us the opportunity to take all those years of experience and put them into something that belongs to our family — while serving the families around us.
And behind the scenes? It really is a family affair. 😂 There are kids, phone calls, invoices, plumbing parts, work trucks, crazy schedules, and probably someone asking “What’s for dinner?” while we’re trying to answer a customer.
But that’s us. ❤️
We aren’t a big corporation. We’re your neighbors. Our kids go to school here. We shop here. We cheer for this town. We’re raising our family here, and the people who call us aren’t just another job on a schedule — they’re people in the same community we call home.
