Most people never think about their garage door’s force setting… until it’s causing a problem. 😬
This setting determines how much pressure your opener uses to open and close the door. Set it too high, and the door may not stop or reverse when something’s in its path (children, pets, car, etc). Set it too low, and it might not latch all the way shut. Like most mechanical settings, it can drift over time, so it’s worth a check now and then rather than assuming it’s still dialed in correctly. Send this to a friend who probably needs to check their settings!
