🎓 Meet David Hetrick — our Architectural Design Intern!

A lifelong builder from Mobile, Alabama, David’s interest in design started early — from building with Legos and tinkering with radios to discovering SketchUp in his first STEM class. That curiosity eventually led him to earn his Associate’s degree in Drafting and Design Technology from Bishop State Community College and continue his education at The University of Southern Mississippi.

David is now completing his Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering Technology at Southern Miss and will graduate this December. 💛🖤

This summer, we’ve had the opportunity to welcome David to the FC Design Center team, where he’s been able to take what he’s learned in the classroom and apply it to real projects, real clients, and the everyday process of bringing good design to life.

Internships like this are important to us. There’s something special about giving the next generation of designers and construction professionals a place to learn, contribute, ask questions, and gain real-world experience — and we learn from their fresh perspective, too.

David has been a wonderful addition to our team, and we’re excited about what the future holds as he heads toward graduation and the next chapter of his career.

Today, we’re celebrating Halle Jones as she wraps up her internship with FC Design Center and heads back to Mississippi State University!
♥️🐾

Halle graduated from Pass Christian High School in 2024 and is entering her junior year as an Interior Design major at Mississippi State. During her time with us, she has had the opportunity to shadow our designers, learn more about our products and brands, assist with projects, and experience what it takes to help bring a client’s vision to life.

We have loved watching Halle learn, grow, and become part of the FC Design Center team. Her passion for design is clear, and we know she has a bright future ahead of her.

After graduation, Halle plans to return to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and hopes to leave her mark on the interior design community by creating beautiful, meaningful spaces throughout our area.

Thank you, Halle, for spending this season with us. We are proud of you, grateful for your hard work, and excited to see where your talent takes you next. Wishing you the very best as you head back to school!⭐️⭐️⭐️
