Help us welcome Mavin Daniel Jr. to the VoltEdge team!

A recent Gulfport High School graduate and State Champion, Mavin is joining the team as a 1st-year apprentice. Through Work-Based Learning at the Energy Academy at Gaston Point, he gained early hands-on experience with wiring, service panels, wire sizing, and more.

Kim brings over three decades of experience in the electrical industry to our office. Having served as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Office Manager, she has developed a deep understanding of the day-to-day operations that keep projects moving and teams supported.

Kim plays an important role behind the scenes, helping keep the office organized and ensuring communication and operations stay on track. Her experience and steady leadership make her a valuable part of the VoltEdge team.

We’re proud to introduce Grant Shropshire, Senior Preconstruction Manager at VoltEdge Electrical Solutions.
Grant brings more than 28 years of experience in the electrical industry, including 9 years in the field & over 20 in commercial and light industrial estimating. A graduate of the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Electrical Apprenticeship Program and Jeff Davis Community College, he’s built his career on both technical expertise & practical jobsite experience.

Grant has led detailed electrical estimating for commercial, healthcare, government, gaming, education, and multi-family projects. He has extensive experience in plan/spec, design-build, and design-assist work. His ability to analyze drawings, manage risk, and produce comprehensive bid packages ensures projects start with clarity and accuracy.

Grant currently holds his Master Electrician licenses in MS, LA, AL, GA, AR, SC, NC, TN, & VA — reflecting both his expertise and regional reach. After 23 years with his previous company, Grant is excited to bring his leadership and preconstruction experience to VoltEdge as part of a founding group committed to excellence in the electrical industry.

Grant enjoys hunting and fishing whenever he has the opportunity. He lives in Gulfport with his wife, Jenifer & together they’ve raised 3 children — Harper (14), Payten (22), and Shelby (28).
