Rosemary Sound is starting to take shape!

The pilings are driven and framing complete for the community boardwalk. Next, we’ll install the decking before turning our attention to the main event: a 425-foot community pier.

You may have already seen him on a jobsite, but these days you’re more likely to meet him when planning your next waterfront project.

Meet Brayden, DMC’s Sales Manager.

Brayden joined Dale’s Marine a little over seven months ago, starting in the field and learning the construction side of the business firsthand. He spent his first several months working with a crew, doing everything from setting pilings to scraping barnacles.

About a month ago, Brayden moved into his new role as Sales Manager, where he works with customers on estimates and helps guide DMC’s marketing efforts.

Brayden grew up in Gulf Breeze before moving to Fort Collins, Colorado for High School. He has a background in business management and marketing.

One of the things that drew him to DMC was the company’s commitment to quality. He wanted to work with a company where he could be proud of what he was representing, and spending his first several months working alongside the crews gave him the opportunity to see that work firsthand.

We’re glad to have Brayden in his new role and excited to see him continue growing with DMC!

Back at it after Labor Day Weekend!

Our crew is kicking off a new project at Rosemary Sound, and this one is going to be fun to watch come together.

We won’t give away too much just yet, but we’ll be sharing progress along the way. Stay tuned to see what we’re building!

Happy Labor Day Weekend from all of us at Dale’s Marine Construction! 🇺🇸

Today we’re especially thankful for the hardworking men and women on our crew who make projects like this possible.

And speaking of projects… yes, that is a 32,000 lb. strap lift holding that boat. We’ll drop a few more pictures of this one in the comments below.

Our office will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day so our team can enjoy a well-earned day off. We’ll be back Tuesday and ready to get after it.

Sometimes the signs that it’s time to rebuild are hard to miss...

This boathouse had begun to lean, several of the pilings were rotting away, and the surrounding walkway had become unsafe.

The boat lift was still in good shape, so instead of replacing everything, we built a new boathouse around the existing lift. New pilings, framing, roof, and walkways gave this waterfront a fresh start while keeping what was still worth keeping.

The simplest projects still need the right solution.

This customer needed mooring pilings to keep their sailboat safe during storms and rough water.

So we installed oversized pilings to give them a strong, dependable place to tie up for years to come.

No project is too small to do it right. If we build it, we build it to last.

What does it take to build a boathouse around a 40,000 lb boat lift?

This project started with nothing but open canal frontage. The customer needed a boathouse capable of accommodating a 50’+ boat, so we designed a custom layout that nestled the 40,000 lb lift between oversized boathouse pilings to meet permitting requirements in the canal.

The customer also chose custom tongue-and-groove under the shingle roof, giving the boathouse a finished look while helping keep birds out of the rafters.
